Our Class

• Teacher- Carolyn Sharkey

• Students- What a great bunch of students in this class. Well mannered, enthusiastic and co-operative. We are definitely the best class in the school. 

• Homework- Homework will be given out Mondays and it is due in Fridays. If you are absent on a Friday it needs to be handed in the following Monday.

• Class Rules-  1) Listen Carefully 2) Good manners 3) Ask if you don't understand something

• Home reading- Students  will be given a home reading card that needs to be completed each night that they read.

Class work

• We have just completed NAPLAN this week.  Everyone has breathed a sigh of relief and now it is on to study Government ready for our trip next term.  Poetry is continuing this term due to popular demand and we have started our weekly geometry lessons.  The quality of poetry and geometry is outstanding!!!

  Students are busily preparing their speeches at home ready for our Stage three public speaking competition which begins in week 6.

  We have been learning about the Government please watch our short film.

Emily-Jane Schutte – has been 5S Poet of the Week three times now!!!

Jacob Burnham and William Robertson are our most recent class members to join the band. Jacob is already playing a mean “Hot Cross Buns!”
