Home Reading

Thank you to our parents and teachers for supporting our wonderful home reading program. All children at Maitland Public School are required to read every week and return their book and chart on their class’s nominated day. Reading material can include books, magazines, comics and even the computer – as long as you’re reading for a minimum of five minutes, you can have a box signed by your parent. Just remember to return your chart each week so you don’t miss out on a chance to win one of our great prizes. AND don’t forget, the overall winning class for the term is treated to free popcorn and a movie on the last day of each term. So get involved, have some fun and become a better reader in the process.
