Kindergarten and Year 1 students

Dear Parents,

Welcome to Term 3. This term we are presenting our biennial school musical. All students K-6 will perform in the musical. The musical will be performed on Wednesday evening, 16^th September, 2009. This year the title is “Cinderella and Rockafella”. It is a 1950s era version of the Cinderella fairytale.

The Kindergarten/Year 1 students from KR, K/1K and K/1/2C (Yr2 are in a different number) will be in the “You’re Going to the Ball” number and the finale “Happy Ever Afters”. They are the fairy/elf brigade helping the Fairy Godmother get Cinderella ready for the ball. The girls will be dressed as fairies, wearing sparkly fairy dresses, tiaras and fairy wings. The boys will be dressed as elves, wearing bright coloured fringed shirts, shorts and headbands. Magic wands will be made at school.

Further details about practices, the performance venue and tickets to the show will be sent home soon. If you have any questions about costumes or need help with your child’s costume please contact Mrs Cameron or your child’s teacher.
