School Swimming Scheme
School Swimming Scheme 17th September, 2008Dear Parents/Caregivers, A learn to swim program is being offered by the Department of Education and Training for students in Years 2 – 6 who CANNOT swim 25m (across the pool) confidently, unaided. This program will be conducted at Maitland Pool from Monday 20th October, 2008 until Friday 31st October, 2008. Students will be leaving school at 9:30 to walk to the pool and returning to school after recess. Recess will be eaten at the completion of the lessons. Pool entry will cost $2:00 per day ($20:00 for 10 days). There is no extra cost for the lessons. Payment can be made daily, or you may prefer to make a lump sum payment at the beginning of the 10 days. There are a limited number of places available and permission notes must be returned by Wednesday, 24th September, 2008. Please DO NOT send any money back with the permission note.
