|  Industrial Action Friday May 18The NSW Teachers' Federation has called a stop work meeting for teachers to attend Sky channel broadcasts this Friday May 18 from 9am. All teachers at Maitland Public School will be attending the meeting. As such, there will be no supervision at school until 11.10am. Parents are asked to make alternate arrangements for the care and supervision of their children. HolidaysHave a safe and happy Easter break! Holiday DatesPlease note the last day of first term is Thursday 5th of April with school resuming on Tuesday 24th of April. ANZAC day is Wednesday 25th of April. 5/6K- Woolworths BBQ Fundraiser5/6K Woolworths BBQ Fundraiser will be held this Saturday 31st March. We are asking for parent volunteers to man a BBQ located within the Woolworths Store. The BBQ would run form 9am-2pm and we are looking for parents who might be able to assist from 9am to 11.30am and from 11.30am to 2pm. We will be cooking bacon and egg rolls and sausage sandwiches, as well as selling drinks. All funds raised go directly to the classrooms for class resources such as games, equipment and displays. Each class will decide on what works best for their class with the funds we raise. Each class will have a BBQ through the year and funds will be allocated equally.
