|  Year 6 go to the Great Barrier ReefLast week year 6 visited the Great Barrier Reef using their connected classroom equipment. The students had the opportunity to have their own personal diver who showed them different living things found in the reef. Callum CrossCallum represented the school at the regional swimming carnival last Thursday. He swam 10 years 50 metres breast stroke in 51.8 seconds and came 5th. In the 50 metres freestyle he swam 30 seconds flat and came 4th. These were personal best times and he just missed out on making the state carnival. Congratulations on your efforts Callum! Teachers will be at school on Thursday the 17th and Friday the 18th of Decmeber. School will return for teachers on Wednesday the 27th of January. Years 1 to 6 will return Thursday the 28th of January and kindergarten students will start school on Friday the 29th of January.
